On the move...

Oh....My...Gosh. Sophia is literally EVERYWHERE :) She is crawling everywhere. She is pulling herself up onto chairs, legs, walls, anything she can get her chubby little hands on. Yesterday, I left her in the living room with Jess while I went to the bathroom, across the living room, in our room...all of a sudden, I hear this tiny panting outside the door. She followed me in there!! LOL. She is constantly standing...I guess sitting is overrated! Here is a video of her pulling herself up. After finally doing it, she looks back to smile at us, all proud of herself....and then....you will see :)

I am enjoying every minute of being her mom. I am definitely having to keep an eye on her more though. She is currently sitting in the living room, talking and playin with her reflection in the mirror, and laughing like it is the most hilarious thing ever. Thank you Lord for sure a hilarious little munchkin. Oh, and she is throwing fits now too. It is hard not to laugh but I guess it was expected sooner or later. :) She likes to stand up in the bath, so I attempt to bend her legs and sit her back down, but sometimes she does not let me by getting all tense. Then she throws a fit...and we take her out. :)  Christian and I walked in to this after her nap the other day.....

And sometimes she just plays for a while and we did not even know she was awake....

Yes, she is pressing her face and tongue up to the side of the crib. LOL

6 Year Anniversary

6  Years Ago, I met this wonderful man who changed my life

1 1/2 Years Ago, Our love grew and

I officially became the "mother" of two amazing children

And now, we have a little addition to our love that only makes it stronger.

I am so greatful for Christian and for showing me what love is. I can not thank the Lord enough for bringing him and Jessica and Dylan into my life. These have truly been the best 6 years of my life.





6 Months of Joy

My baby girl is 6 months!!

I cannot believe Sophia is 6 months! We have so much fun every single day and I am so blessed to be able to stay home 5 days a week with her! Here is what she does that makes me so proud to be her mom:

Crawling everywhere, even to areas she is not allowed :)

Laughing from her gut

Sitting up by herself

Smiles at her family because she recognizes each one of us

Crawls to me when she wants me to hold her

Loves her baths and showers

Is mesmirized by The Band Perry (thanks to her dad) and calms down immediately when their song is on the TV or radio

Chats for long periods of time about anything, and her voice is SO sweet

Tackles her little pink lion from Grandma and thinks it is so funny

Smiles HUGE when anyone walks in to pick her up when she is awake

Loves walks but always falls asleep

She has two teeth on the bottom, fully in, and is working on one more: a little trooper

Can't sit in church passed singing time because she squeaks and talks too loud so is distracting to others, in a good way ;)

Loves the nursery and all her little friends at church

Crawls up to and ON other babies because she is intrigued by them

Kisses herself in the mirror

Responds to her name when called or spoken

Rolls and throws her ball

Loves to be on dad's or brother's shoulders because is higher than everyone

Smacks her toys or anything else, really fast because she is excited

Is eating veggies and loves them all, except green beans.

I love my girl.
